Below are my ten favorite photos of the year 2010 in chronological order. Like last year there are landscape and outdoor photos. However, a fair amount of architectural photos made the list this year. I guess my increased interest in this type of photography shows.
In case you notice: It’s pure coincidence that the photos with the titles “Three” and “Seven” are actually no. 3 and no. 7 on my list for 2010!

1. Welcome To My World, January 15, 2010
Night shot of the Mary Avenue foot bridge across Hwy 280 in Cupertino, CA.

2. Granuja Falls, January 31, 2010
One of the many waterfalls in Uvas Canyon County Park. End of winter is the best time in the year as the creeks carry a lot of water after the rain season.

3. Three, May 14, 2010
My daughter is always a favorite subject. This was taken at her third birthday.

4. Reaching Higher, August 20, 2010
I envisioned this shot for a long time. Finally everything came together this summer.

5. Look Down And You Will See, August 20, 2010
The Embacadero in San Francisco offers many great architectural photo opportunities. This is just one of them.

6. Bay Bridge, Aug 21, 2010
I stood up at 4 am in the morning for this shot. But it was well worth it as this view will be gone in a few years when the new bay bridge will be finished.

7. Seven, August 29, 2010
I really like the repeating pattern of the lamps at the San Jose Museum of Art.

8. Evening Light at Pigeon Point Lighthouse, September 5, 2010
It’s only a one hour drive from where I live to the Pacific. I should go there more often with views available like this.

9. Deep in the Forest, October 2, 2010
Made during a camping trip in the Big Basin Redwoods State Park. I’m always in awe when I’m visiting this giant trees.

10. Harvest Time, October 9, 2010
I just love the strong primary colors of fall!
