I attended an awesome Google+ photography meetup in Death Valley National Park the weekend before last. The whole event was initiated by Thomas Hawk. He posted a great summary of this trip on his web site. It is a very worthwhile read. I had a fantastic time and met many cool and talented photographers. Below is a photo I made just a few minutes after sunrise at Zabriskie Point. Like so often this great light only only lasted for a few minutes as many gray clouds were moving in quickly. Still I was able to compose a few more shots at this spot which I probably will post in the coming weeks.
