My daughter and I went to see the beautiful Monarch butterflies at the Natural Bridges State Park in Santa Cruz, CA. last weekend. Every year they return to a small sanctuary and cluster on the pines and eucalyptus trees. It’s a real feast for the eyes and I can highly recommend it to anybody.

After we had seen enough we spent some time at the close beach. My daughter had great fun with chasing waves and the abundant sand and I took a few long exposure photos. A perfect Saturday afternoon.
